I find BTCL School not only teaches the Thai language but also gives you the experiences of Thai culture. The school reminds me of when I studied in Thailand. The students all line up in the morning to show respect for the Thai national anthem then pray to the buddha before entering the class. The school support students to be punctual, respect and confident. I can hardly find any place in Sydney that offer Thai musical instrument and Thai dance class. BTCL is the best choice I made for my daughter. All teachers can speak Thai and English fluently, so there’s no doubt for them to teach anyone with no Thai language skill.

An ideal Thai Community Language School for children to learn Thai language, music, and dance. We are really happy that our daughter has gained positive and valuable experiences at BTCL while studying her own heritage and culture. She enjoys spending time with her friends every Sunday and parents also get the opportunities to be involved with activities of the community. I’ve been attending adult Thai class at Buddharangsee Thai Community Language (BTCL) School for a few years, at first in person and more recently (because of COVID lockdown) on-line. The classes are very good and are helpful I think to everyone – those who want to go at a fast pace and those who want more sedate pacing; to beginners and to those who are quite proficient. They are also very friendly and it is good to meet up with others who share similar interests. I commend BTCL School very highly

After seeing an amazing performance by BTCL at Darling Harbour, I enrolled my children at the school. Every Sunday they studied Language, Dance, and Music and built strong connections with other children of Thai heritage. My children have had amazing opportunities to perform at many cultural festivals throughout Sydney including Minister’s Awards Night, Children’s Festivals, and Thai New Year Celebrations just to name a few. Whilst my children were in class, I also attended the adult language program and went from not knowing any Thai to being able to have a conversation in Thai. I highly recommend BTCL for both Children and Adults.

We like Thai school because they teach our children the Thai culture as well as the language. The teachers are great at teaching the language as well as making it fun to learn. Learning the Thai music and dance help children learn more things about our culture which is very fascinating. My son said “This school is very fun because at lunch time I can play and have fun with my friends.” BTCL keeps our children busy all year long because of many projects through the year apart from school term projects such as the Intensive Music and Dancing including Summer School projects. We love our Thai school!

We felt very welcome from day one that our son started the learning journey here. All staff and teachers are very friendly and supportive.
